About Whole Man 🧠

Men's mental health has unfortunately been overshadowed by societal expectations and stigma's. Men's mental health concerns have historically been under-discussed and under-addressed.

Whole Man is a program that will help men come together with connection, and feelings of inspiration. Each month we will be recognising shame and triggers within, and share that it’s ok to reach out and ask for help, and that asking for support is not a weakness.

About Our Speaker – Aaron McLoughlin 🌿

Our amazing speaker this month is Aaron Mcloughlin.

Aaron McLoughlin has been coaching people since 1996. Trained in clinical hypnosis and neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), Aaron has worked with clients with a very broad range of goals and challenges. His 'tag line' is "If you can put your dream or challenge into words, then I can help you with it."

Author of three books, trainer of health professionals in NZ and Australia, he has also been the past President of both the NZ Association of Professional Hypnotherapists and the NZ NLP Association.

Aaron received his black belt in karate at the age of 19, has worked as a professional photographer, walked the boards in theatre, worked as a medical clown doctor in Christchurch Hospital and rest homes, and on occasion, has generated laughter (and bombed!) with stand-up comedy. He was also a presenter for the Do or Die TV series, coaching families with major life challenges.

Volunteering for community groups such as VFF, running courageous conversation workshops, and pre-COVID, hosting a radio show on Christchurch's Plains FM about sleep have kept Aaron busy.

Aaron's grounding over the last 33 years is his daily practice of transcendental meditation.

What to Expect 🌈

Connect with like-minded men and explore pathways to thriving, not just surviving. Each month there will be 1 amazing guest speaker for 25–30 minutes and a chance to share (or not) to listen with a compassionate heart.

After each speaker we will dive deep into a tranquil world of sound and vibration with her magical crystal bowls. Let Maria guide you to a state of profound peace and realigning of of your mind, body and spirit. Maria's magic lies in her ability to create a space where individuals can release old energies and embrace the calming influence of calming theta brainwaves. Releasing of energy blocks and emotions out of the body without speaking a word!
